NSC is a club rowing team for high school girls in Chicago’s northern suburbs. We offer a year round competitive rowing program. The team is devoted to developing competitive rowers in a collegial and challenging environment. We also offer a one-week summer Learn to Row program for 7th - 12th grade girls who are interested in trying crew.

North Suburban Crew Mission Statement:

North Suburban Crew (NSC) was established in 1995 as a non-profit 501(c)3 rowing club to serve high school women of the North Shore of Chicago.  NSC hopes to inspire in our team a lifelong love of rowing and fitness, to provide opportunities for rowers to successfully compete in the sport, to teach respect for oneself and others, and to impart a drive to achieve on the water and in future endeavors.

Our vision is to emphasize good sportsmanship, encourage teamwork, and build strength of character in each oarswoman.

ATHLETIC AND ACADEMIC STANDARDS

While a club team, independent from our partner schools, we hold each of our girls to IHSA (Illinois High school Sports Association) standards. We also work with the academic administrations of our partner schools in ensuring that each of our athletes are within academic standards in order to participate with North Suburban Crew.
